Editorial policy

The rules FieldCircuit uses to turn complex agricultural information into useful, traceable explanations.

Last updated 12 July 2026

Evidence before authority

Material factual claims must connect to registered sources. We prefer standards bodies, public agencies, universities, peer-reviewed research, and official technical documentation. A polished page is not a substitute for evidence.

Manufacturer information stays attributed

Company history, portfolios, product configurations, and commercial feature descriptions often originate with manufacturers. We label that evidence as manufacturer-stated and do not convert marketing language into independent performance conclusions.

Standards and copyright

Restricted standards are explained in original language. FieldCircuit does not reproduce protected tables, data dictionaries, message definitions, or substantial original text. Readers implementing a standard must obtain the authoritative publication and applicable licensing rights.

Compatibility and versions

Compatibility claims require an exact product, model year, market, hardware, software, and authoritative source. General technology explainers never imply that every product supports every function.

AI-assisted work

AI may assist research organization, drafting, code, and quality checks. It is not treated as a factual source. Published records must pass the repository validation rules and remain traceable to registered evidence.

No paid placement in editorial conclusions

FieldCircuit currently accepts no sponsored rankings or paid editorial placement. If commercial relationships are introduced, they must be disclosed next to the affected material.
