TRACEABLE IMPROVEMENT

Corrections policy

FieldCircuit treats correction as maintenance of the knowledge system, not as an embarrassment to hide.

Last updated 12 July 2026

What should be corrected

Factual errors, broken evidence links, incorrect ownership, outdated product or standard scope, misleading compatibility language, material omissions, and inaccessible presentation should be reviewed.

Required evidence

A correction request should identify the page, disputed statement, reason it is incorrect, and the strongest available source. Product corrections should include region, model, model year, hardware, and software scope where relevant.

How changes are handled

Accepted corrections update the content record, its verification date, and sources where needed. Material changes should be committed separately so the repository history preserves what changed and why.

Current contact limitation

The public correction inbox is not yet active. Until a verified contact channel is published, FieldCircuit does not pretend to accept submissions. Establishing that channel is a release-readiness requirement.
